Terms of Service

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and [[Dor Dor — legal entity name]] ("Dor Dor", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least [[13]] years old to create an account. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use the service with the involvement of a parent or guardian, who accepts these Terms on your behalf.

3. Your account

• You must give accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for keeping your password and account secure, and for activity that happens under your account.
• One person, one account. Do not share your account or let others use it.

4. Game credits

Games on Dor Dor are paid for with game credits ("games"). Credits are a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to access game content — they are not money, not a stored-value instrument, and have no cash value.

• Credits do not expire.
• Credits cannot be transferred, sold, or exchanged for cash.
• Starting a game consumes credits at the rate shown before you confirm.
• We may grant promotional or referral credits, which we may modify or withdraw at any time.
• If a game fails to start because of a fault on our side, contact support and we will restore the credits.

5. Purchases and refunds

Prices are shown before you confirm a purchase and may be displayed in your local currency. You are responsible for any taxes that apply to you.

Because game credits are digital content delivered immediately, purchases are generally final. This does not affect any non-waivable rights you have under the consumer-protection law of [[Qatar]]. If you were charged in error or a purchase did not deliver, contact [[support@dordor.app]] and we will investigate and put it right.

6. Premium themes

Some game themes are unlocked with a one-time purchase. An unlocked theme stays available on your account. Themes change how the game board looks only; they do not affect gameplay, scoring, or the questions you receive.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Break the law or infringe anyone's rights while using the service.
• Copy, scrape, resell, or redistribute our questions, artwork, or other content.
• Reverse-engineer the service, or try to gain unauthorised access to accounts, data, or systems.
• Interfere with the service, bypass rate limits, or automate access without our permission.
• Abuse promotional codes or the referral system, including creating fake accounts for rewards.
• Enter content into team or player names that is unlawful, hateful, or abusive.

8. Our content and your licence

The service, including its questions, categories, artwork, branding, and software, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the service for your own non-commercial entertainment.

Playing Dor Dor at a commercial venue, event, or as part of a paid activity requires our prior written permission.

9. Content accuracy

We work to keep our trivia questions and answers accurate, but we do not warrant that every question is free of error. You can report a question you believe is wrong from within the game, and we will review it.

10. Availability and changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service, and we may add, remove, or modify game modes, categories, and questions. We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access; maintenance and outages happen.

If we permanently discontinue the service, we will give reasonable notice and will deal fairly with unused paid credits.

11. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, or if we reasonably suspect fraud or abuse. Where we terminate an account for a serious breach, unused credits may be forfeited.

12. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profit, or goodwill. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or [[QAR 500]].

This limit does not apply to liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.

14. Changes to these terms

15. Governing law
